Creating a New You -- by Ruth Chang

Folks,

I recently came across quite an interesting article in The International New York Times.

The article, entitled "Creating a New You" was written by Ruth Chang, a professor of philosophy at Rutgers University, US.

The article is really inspiring. The online version of the article is here.

Apparently, Ruth also has a TED talk. You can watch below:

I have also scanned the article, which appears below. The PDF version of the article is here.

The Circle of Life

Friends,

This is such a powerful image. The shots are cleverly taken.

A tapestry of life, one that is often ignored until it is too late to realize.

I adore this image so much.

Indeed, it is an apt description of the cycle of life!

Inspirational Quote

Friends,

This is a nice quote, which I took from my facebook. Obviously I do not own this picture nor its quote.

The quote is so true.

If you have tasted defeat,
then you will taste success.

If your heart has been broken,
it will soon be mended.

And if you are jobless,
who knows, one day you will be employed?

Life is like a wheel. No, let's put it mathematically -- life is like a sinusoidal graph of y=sin(x) where there are so many ups and downs.

You just have to be strong at any moment in your life. Life come with many tests; and some tests, I have to admit, are really-really challenging and harsh.

And in life, nothing is eternal -if you are rich today, years later you may end-up poor. who knows?

If you are healthy today, years later you will be attacked with diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure etc.

Well, that is life. Enjoy every moment of it, and do not feel discouraged.

The advice above is for me, anyway.

Try to stay positive, Max, and God-willing, you will succeed later in life.
